1) A small no-name MP3 player, or a more well-known Zen device, with playlists etc. I recommened Zen over iPod, because it does not convert the material to iPod format, so you can get it out, too.
2) One of those 6-7" tablets, for example Archos 7. The you can also read eBooks, listen to music, use Google maps, and browse web/newspapers. Both can be connected to good noise-canceling headphones, and off you go.
2 1/2) Use your phone, unless you receive lots of calls. A 4 GB card goes a long way. Make sure the audio connector is of correct type. Bluetooth works, too.
Hi all, I have a Sony CD player that I use for audio books on tape/CD. But I want a smaller device when I travel. I understand that MP3 players will play audiobooks, but I'm not sure what brand I should buy that will play music & audio books.
