can someone tell me is a good mp3 editor?

Here's why. MP3 is a compressed format and you can't edit it in the compressed form. All editors I know of expand it to an uncompressed form, you edit and then recompress such.

If this is acceptable to you, then try AUDACITY.

Audacity is probably the best free audio editor available, and does MP3's quite well. However, what someone else said about MP3 editors is true... they all uncompress it, then edit it and again re-compress. This involves a certain loss in quality, so if you have the source CD, you should rip it as WAV files, then edit it in Audacity, and finally compress it to MP3.
