MP3 Shopping: Drag-and-Drop, Folder Navigation

Mar 15, 2011 1:01PM PDT

I'm having the hardest time shopping for a new MP3 player and I could use some advice.

My biggest priorities are:

1. Drag-and-drop loading. Plug in MP3 to computer, drop music folder into MP3. Done.

2. Folder organization (including sub-folders). Navigate to Music --> AudioBooks --> Adams, Douglas --> Play All. Easy peasy.

Minor priorities are:

3. Physical buttons. Am I the only person on earth who keeps her MP3 player in her pocket and changes songs by touching the buttons? I don't want to dig a touch screen MP3 player out every time I want to skip forward past the 4th rendition of a song chorus. ADD, I haz it.

4. Size: 32 GB would be nice. Or higher. SD card expansion would be desirable.

I already have this:

http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Walkman-Video-Player-Black/dp/B001F50UIQ/ref=sr_1_16?s=mp3&ie=UTF8&qid=1300244074&sr=1-16

I love it. LOVE it. I'd marry this MP3 player if I could. Except.... 8 GB isn't what it used to be. There's a 16 GB version, but that's really only postponing the problem. The 32 GB version has been discontinued (why, Sony?) and I'm not looking to buy a refurb.

Can anyone help me? Zune and iPod don't have the drag-and-drop systems I want; Cowon sounds a little unintuitive in terms of folder navigation; I've never seen an Archos product that got higher than 3 stars overall; and no one seems to have physical buttons anymore! Really?

Help! And...thanks! Happy
