MP3's to a Samsung R500 Hue?

Im trying to get music from my PC to the mini scandisk . . am having no luck.

I bought the Samsung USB transfer cable, didnt work (and took forever to find one that fit the stupid thing).

I bought a card reader/adapter, didnt work, PC wouldnt recognize the card. Worked w/ my memory stick, wouldnt w/ the mini SD.

Is the Data Suite compatible w/ this phone and will I be able to transfer MP3's? Ive blown enough $$ on this thing and it's just making me angry at this point.

This is probably the crappiest phone I've ever been talked into w/ needing special everything as the jacks (headphones, memory cards, charger) aren't universal.

I have windows XP, if that's relevant.

Help!!!

So you said the memory card reader worked with a regular SD card, but not the mini SD card.
The first thing is to make sure is the your memory card is a micro SD card, not mini SD. The micro SD card is smaller and yes, there is a difference.
The second thing is to make sure the memory card reader can read micro SD cards, or if you need an regular SD card adapter for your micro SD card.
If that's all dandy, make sure your songs are actually MP3's. Most music programs like itunes and window media player don't automatically transfer songs to MP3, but can if you want them to. In most cases, you also cannot transfer songs bought online to your phone.

Hope this works. If not, there are other possibilities.

it worked w/ a sony memory stick from my camera . . . the SD has an adapter, it still wouldnt read it (its one of those cheap 5 in 1 readers)

I use limewire / Winamp.

However it is a Micro, not mini.
