MP3 players adn Linux

I have a creative zen microphoto and love it. My dad wants an MP3 player, and he loves my microphoto too but he wants it to be compatible with Linux. Does anyone know if this player is or any other MP3 player that is. The only one I know about is the IPOD. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

i know one but its not as much a mp3 player as it is a game system i guess. its prety cool though its like a psp without the wifi and yes it uses linux. its called the gp2x i think
