Mp3 Player, Which one...

Feb 6, 2012 9:52AM PST

Looking for an Mp3 player that is a touch screen with ability to play music and videos.

I was looking at the Apple Ipod Touch 32... but I am not sure if I want to shell out $299

Any thoughts on something similar for a little less money or is that what I should expect to pay

thanks in advance
Mick

I'd go with the ipod, most touchscreen MP3's that are cheap usually stink, cheap buld, low memory, and break easily. This is because they can market it with two words. Touch screen. Your best bet would be to go with the ipod touch. It has more features then other touch screen devices on the market now. Also yo do not need the 32G, you could get the 8G because that is what most knockoff T/S have. Also you could get a 3rd or 2nd gen to knock down the price a little more. Happy shopping! Happy

comes in a 4 or 5 inch, one of the best for the money. I got 2, one for me one for my son. comparable to Ipod touch except the price. Amazon has them around $180, plus the 32gb micro SD. Whole setup cost $200, and it blows the Ipod touch outta the water. Check out some reviews. IPODS ARE OVERPRICED.

Odd assertion.

I have Android devices and players and of course an iPod.

Since I have them all, the iPod wins this round for me for what it does so well.

Android? Fiddly is the word I use. I also think "It's the new Windows" due to rather odd and arcane issues (just like Windows.)

Still nice to have a choice!
