MP3 player -track selection help needed please

I've never owned an MP3 player, so I may be looking for something that doesn't exist....perhaps someone can advise me.
I'm a singer and want to upgrade my mini disk system of backing tracks to MP3, so I need an MP3 player that will enable me to select tracks by number - e.g. keyboard type. I need to store about 450 tracks, but be able to access them quickly and easily. All the players I've seen so far have rotary or sequential type controls - these would take far too long, and are fiddly, especially for someone with old eyesight!

Any suggestions would be most gratefully received.
