Mp3 Player recommendation?

Dec 7, 2005 9:57AM PST

I haven't done a lot of research yet but I'm hoping you guys can give me some advice. My old Sony discman is about to give up the ghost and I'm going to get my first Mp3 player. My daughter has an IPod Mini so of course she is encouraging me to get one also. I'm not convinced yet
The features I would like are as follows:
1. The ability to create a playlist in any order that I want
2. I need to be able to use an FM Transmitter with it.
3. If possible I'd like to be able to "bookmark" a point in a file (ie. a talk radio mp3) and be able to return to it later if I decide to listen to music instead...not sure if this is doable or not?
4. I don't need more than 1 or 2 Gb in storage capacity.
5. I use my player while running so I suppose a flash based unit would be better?

Is there a Creative Player that meets these criteria?
Thanks for any info.

Gary

The MP3 Player that could
Dec 7, 2005 2:56PM PST

I would recomend the Creative (The Sound Card Guys). The Creative MuVo TX FM 1GB to be exact. I purchased one this summer so I could take it with me when riding my bike. It offers most of the features you mentioned like bookmark, the FM, Small size great for running, and most important quality sound. The part I like best of all is that it like having an extra Gig of memory with you in case you need to pick some files from work or a friends because it's a flash drive too. It also has a mic in case you want to record some thoughts. The only down side is the small screen but then who wants a screen to LISTEN? Here is where you can get more info and Canadian price and a picture of it too.
