MP3 Player Help

Sep 3, 2009 12:05AM PDT

Hi,
thanks for taking the time to read this...any suggestions are appreciated! So, I got a new Samsung Instinct S30 cellphone with MP3 player on it. Wanted to add all my old CD's into Mp3 format to put on the phone. Found a CD to MP3 ripper online and did all of the converstions. This ripper software does have the CDDB database to download the artist, album and song info. So, my problem comes when I download the MP3's to the phone/MP3 player. They show up only as individual songs, they are not by artist and/or album. When I go to the mp3 player home, it shows 0 artist and 0 albums, but shows all the songs individually. I tried storing each album in its own folder on the on the sandisk card, but to no avial. Am I doing something wrong or is it because i havent purchased the music from the Sprint store or Itunes or something. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob

Thanks for that Info, but that is for the old Instinct, not the new Instinct S30. When I go to the Sprint download page, it doesnt show that as a valid download for the S30. Thanks, again, though!

Next time you're near a sprint station ask what they are doing to replace that.
