MP3 Player: 1GB Capcity becaom 512MB

Hello I purchased a new MP3 player. I tried to copy around 800MB of data on it. Unfortunately some of fodere were corrupted SO I reformatted the same. Now capacity becaomes 512MB instead of 1GB.

What shall do??. Any one help me out to resolve this problem.

It's new. It's a warranty issue.

Let it be their problem.

But if you read this forum, formatting MP3 devices is something I suggest you read the manual to see if it's supported.

You told us the name of your MP3 Player?

On player it is SONY S-10. I think it is not original SONY Player.
