Resolved Question

Mp3 Or Wav To Text Program

Sep 7, 2012 5:58AM PDT

Does anyone know of a program that can convert Mp3 and WAV files to text????
I have songs that I would like to see what the lyrics are because I sometimes can't tell what they're saying and I can't find the lyrics online for the songs.

So if you need the lyrics to some sound, I'd use google and try such things as...

Lyrics to sweet home alabama

If I wanted to find such.

As you know.

Music and lyrics are copyrighted works. So it's never a sure thing that such will be on the internet.

If there is a lyric you can't find, it may be time to consider a letter to the performer. Some have Facebook pages you can ask such questions and sometimes you get lucky.

Speech recognition programs ...

are worse in recognising speech than humans are, especially if there's music to interfere with the spoken/sung text. So I doubt if such programs exist.
