You (and everybody else) can choose what program to use for playing html.
Exactly like you (and everybody else) can choose what program to use to open a .pdf file (Adobe reader or Foxit reader) or a .txt file (in: Notepad or Wordpad or any freeware text editor). Those programs are the Windows programs. Mac and Linux users might have to choose other programs.
Nothing you - in your role of webmaster - can do to influence hte choice of the users (except some text saying "I recommend ...").
OK i have a website - with a bunch of music files and dj mixes on them.
However my html music player is limited as far as its cabailities to enhance audio or make changes to it and why would their be the need i guess.
Basically what I am trying to do is have an html based mp3 player online.
However I would like some additional features such as equalizer and the ability to pitch bend tracks.
is this possible - it has to be - if you can do it with a mp3 player on your computer why cant you do it online.
i dont want it to render audio or anything of that nature - but in realtime stream audio from my site and depending on how the user changes the format if they want a pop based eq or if they wanna slow it down have each user change the audio based on personal preferences and personal taste.
