Sep 23, 2005 12:14PM PDT

i really need an mp3 for jogging, since i need to whip my fat butt into shape. preferably something that uses AA or AAA battery.

right now i'm looking to creative or sony.

something less than $120. no accessories or extra features needed. all it needs to do is work.

suggestions?

Shiro SX. $115 new on eBay. Uses 1 AAA battery (rechargeable is OK). it is also SD card based. Hard disks and jogging do not mix well. This has no moving parts. 256MB of memory is built in, and there is a SD/MMC card slot. There are also some extra features (FM tuner which you can record from) , voice recording, and my favorite, a line input, so you don't have to record everything from your computer, you can just plug in direclty.
