Question

MP3 battery life

Apr 11, 2012 7:16PM PDT

Last year I bought an Sony MP3 which said "50 hrs battery life" but this was never the case.

I don't listen in 1 long session; it's always 10 min here, 15 min there........
I had to recharge the battery every 2 days to avoid it dying on me.

I contacted Sony to ask if their claim of "50 hrs battery life" was a joke but they said
nonono bring it back to the store to have it checked.

So last week I did (before warranty expired) and they gave me a new version NWZ-E464.
but guess what..........
it's already having the same problem !!

I always recharge the battery until the display says "FULL" ; is this wrong?

Can you explain this?

Thanks

Danny from Belgium

I don't know the encoding of the audio file and all the other details. It may be best you keep going back to Sony if you can't supply these details.
