Question

Mozilla tab crashes

May 28, 2017 12:44PM PDT

Hi I have Mozilla on my laptop, windows 7. In the last couple of days, a tab will crash. This is not all the time and I do not know what to do.
I have Norton Security and it is ok. Please advise.
Thank you for your help.

That's expected.

Given that Javascript can cause a browser to crash still or lockup, I wouldn't worry about this unless the tab was on your site. Then it's your code to fix.

Thank you R. This is the first time I recall it crashing in all the years I have used it.
I apologize, what do you mean, "unless this tab was on you site". Are you saying if I had a personal website? Thank you for your help.

Is this always the same site?
How many tabs do you have open?
What version of firefox?

Hi Bob,

It is not the same site and I may have one other tab open.
It is Firefox 53. Thank you for your help.
