Mozilla T'bird

W'dows 7 // Dell Inspiron 1545

I've found Windows Live email rather slow and tetchy.
I've now downloaded Moz T'bird. However, I cannot import the address book from Windows Live Mail.
It is not being displayed in the list of options...!ny advice please.

They discuss that software and if it's a bug they usually enter it for a fix.

Importing can be limited but did you try the old TWO STEP? That is, did you export it from Live before trying to import it?

Since this is widely discussed I'll stop here.

Did just that Bob.Had to convert to a CSV file and export, then import to T'bird.
Mind, it did manageto import all the contacts addressess in the wrong box throughout...!

I see there are open discussions about CSV importing.

And there are open discussions about export and importing. Since folk can add fields to these import/export I see where most folk may write it's buggy.

Sorry but I wonder if I should have written something else.

HOWEVER, I'm finding the newer to PC folk to wonder why all these apps have issues. For that we have to learn how we got here. That history does not fit in this small space.
