mozilla problem -can't see abook.mab on my backup system....

Jun 25, 2004 9:48AM PDT

I am trying to make a 2nd CPU a backup computer in case of an emergency... I have loaded Mozilla on both systems... primary sys. runs WinXP, 2nd system using Win98....
I cannot get the 2nd system to recognize my address file from my WinXP system.... I discovered via trial and error that I need to load my bookmarks in the c:\documents and settings \etc\etc on the Win98 system...as well as the mail files...however, everything else runs out of the old c:\windows\application\mozilla\etc\etc file location....
I have tried loading the address files in both location... neither one helps!!!
What am I missing???
thanks!

In W98 the proper place to load that file is in Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\"Profile Name"\"alpha numeric file name"

The names of the files in quotes will vary from user to user. Hope this helps>

Good luck!
