Mozilla FireFox Browser Tabs

I work for a company that uses a special Caller ID software package that creates a new tab every time a new call comes in. Each time a call comes in, the caller information appears on the screen as a new tab and the screen switches to it immediately. I want to make it so that the screen prioritizes the current call so that when multiple calls come in at once, multiple tabs will be generated, but the screen is fixed on only one.

Is there any way to fix this problem?
One person already suggested that it might be possible to create a software add-on through Mozilla?

This is for their IT to fix.

Back to the company for a fix.

Company too small for IT person

Company is unfortunately too small to have an IT person. I'm the only person in the office with/getting a college degree I think. Not that I'm an elitist or anything. It's just that the rest of the office staff is not very technical. If it's possible to create mozilla add-on, I'd be happy to work on it. I just don't know where to start, considering I'm only a novice in engineering currently.

Then back to the author/company/support of the app.

I take it that this is mission critical so just like other office items you decide to build, buy, repair or call in the maker to fix up what's failing.

I am running into a lot of folk that feel that such work should be done for free. Sadly they often explode at having to pay for solutions but here, you have a company with a thing they need solving.

There is a setting in some firefox for how you want your tabs to work, in the preferences. Otherwise have to manually set it by going to the internal firefox configuration webpage.

then put tab in the Search box to find the settings.
