Moving WAB from one computer to another

Nov 22, 2003 10:18PM PST

Am trying to transfer WAB (Windows Address Book) files and OE file folders from one computer to another with same XP program (from same CD) by means of "Import" in OE and files are not recognized. Am using a portable harddrive as the go-between. Am I not using the right procedure? If not, how should I do it? Appreciate your assistance.

The read-only flag.

When you move some file with a CDR, often the file is READ-ONLY after you copy it onto the target. This will create errors in most applications.
