I ran into something similar
Sep 26, 2011 11:18PM PDT

I ran into something similar trying to move my Firefox profile from SL or Lion. For whatever reason, every single time I tried, it caused some kind of issue with Firefox. I had to make a new profile and start over.

Which, I know does nothing to resolve your issue, but you're not alone in this. But RSS feeds are just a listing of links, they aren't actual files. So you should be able to just find the subscription link for the feed and recreate it on the new computer.

Yes, I think I have to just re-subscribe to all the feeds...

I was hoping for a quicker and easier solution though...

Unfortunately I can not test it any more - though it might have been the solution - as I already re-subscribed to all past feeds manually and deleted the old backup to make room for a new one.

So I think you're facing (if not already resolved) the same problem that I did.
