Moving programs & files

by Brian / March 5, 2004 5:14 AM PST

I need to move programs & files from "C" drive to "D" drive so I can install additional software on "C". Can someone tell me how to do so or refer me to a site with instructions?

Thanks,
Brian

For a program, you uninstall it and then install it. Watch for any offer to place it on D.

For files, you drag and drop from two explorer windows from one place to another... Hint: don't try that with programs.

iS THERE NO WAY TO DO THIS WITHOUT UNINSTALLING EVERY PROGRAM AND DIGGING UP THE MEDIA TO RE-INSTALL. MY C DRIVE IS FULL AND NEED TO RELOCATE PROGRAMS LIKE WORD, EXCEL. THEY CAME PRE-LOADED, WITH NO DISK.
