Moving Many Files From Different Folders To One Folder.

Jul 31, 2008 10:52PM PDT

As the name implies, I want to move many .mp3's from their artist/album folder to a separate folder for easy transfer to my MP3 Player... Any ideas to a program that can do it? I don't feel like sorting through 1000+ folders and copying files into another folder...

Just did something like that.

I used the find files feature. Then control+A (select all), control+X (cut), then in my new directory, Shift+Insert (paste.)

Remember that you asked to MOVE these files!

That would still take ages.. I have over 1000+ folders with music spread through them all....

I just did this and it worked. Yes it took 15 minutes but that's forever...
