I have tried using the migration assistant to move my iTunes from my PC to my MacBook but am running into trouble. First I hooked up both computers to each other directly using an ethernet cord, made sure sharing was on, opened up the migration assistant on my mac, the only options were migrating from another to mac, from a time machine backup or other disk, or To another mac. I tried the from another mac even though it was from a PC but that did not work. So I loaded my iTunes on to a USB thumb drive and plugged it into my MacBook, started the migration assistant again and this time selected from time machine backup or other disk, click continue and then the assistant just spins and spins like it is looking for a disk, on the select disk, even though I can see the thumb drive on my desk top screen. This is a Macbook I bought in May of 2011 it has OSx 10.6.8 and says it is on Macintosh HD
Any ideas or thoughts are appreciated...
Thanks
