Question

Moving from IPhoto to Craigslist Different than other post

Feb 17, 2012 7:18AM PST

I also have been going crazy trying to choose a photo from Iphoto, After I get the ad posted I click on the (add/choose photo) and it takes me to the Finder list with 4 different things to choose from for the pictures. I can't get any one photo. It takes me to the whole file that is entered as the photo and consequently will not load as file is too large.
I just used to click on the (add/choose photo) and it would let me make a choice of what photo I wanted or type in the file link to get the photo.
Please help. Geek Squad was no help even with the 2 year warranty I have with them. Did not fix the Problem.

This is new to me.

I'm sorry, this is a new problem for me as a new user. It is not the photo size as I can not get to any photo to adjust size. As I said I get the WHOLE Iphoto file and I'm unable to get into the file to get a photo. I'm sorry to but I was able to pick a photo from any event file or photos. I can't even get to an event file.
Please be patient with me. Thank you Nanc Silly
I have a macpro that I purchased August 2011. They installed Lion. It was Leopard. They didn't have any new machines at the time Best Buy. It was fine before as I said. This started happening in Dec. 2011. I contacted Geek Squad and all they did was run a maintenance and called it good. It did not work. Also that Colored wheel goes around that I mentioned in the next question. Thanks again....

Sorry but I can't tell if you used the export to desktop?
Feb 17, 2012 8:57AM PST

I understand you are a new user but I can't tell if you tried the export to desktop or external hosting. I know some folk that will never try another way and you have to give them more time to think it over and try new ways.

Sorry but each discussion stands on its own. If I answered anything here, then no one would have the full story for later reference.
