The LCD on your camera is specified as 2.5 inches (diagonal).
Sony is the only one I know that uses this size LCD.
While it is large, it has the same pixel count as everyone elses 1.8 inch LCD. Which means the 1.8 LCD would give a sharper image.
The only thing that Sony has that is anywhere close to your desires is the new V3. But it is only 4X zoom.
The camera that has everything you want but with a 1.8 LCD is the new Nikon 8800.

Help! I have a friend who wants to buy my old digital camera, but I am finding it hard to replace some of its great features! I currently own a Sony Mavica CDR. I am looking for camera that is not quite as bulky as my Mavica, BUT an LCD that is just as big (measures 1.5"x2") I would like a rewriteable memory medium and a good range from wide angle to telephoto (I currently have 10x optical zoom) Does anyone have any ideas??
Thank you very much,
Harper
