Movies on PC hard drive

Jan 6, 2005 11:08AM PST

I have movies I want to record to DVD on my PC DVD burner that I wish to play on my home DVD player. I read in the instruction manual of the DVD player that it is supposed to play all the different +R, -R, etc. But when I try to use my existing B's Gold Recorder software, the disc doesn't play on my home DVD player, but it plays on the PC okay. I guess that software isn't the correct software. Anyone know a way to accomplish this without having to get a PhD. in home computers? Is there special software needed to do this? Thanks.

If you were to create such with B recorder/other, it could be too much work.

Try DVD creation programs such as Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3 and others.

If these are "downloaded" movies from the internet, be aware that PHD levels of knowledge may be required and no one can help you.

not the burning you did. Also, with some burning programs you can create a VCD that will play on the newer DVD players. That way you can use cheap CDs instead of DVDs. Ulead IS a good program.. download a trial version.
