$5.00 TO RENT A HI-DEF MOVIE NO WAY. I do have a new Sony blue ray player but would wait for the prices to come down then snatch one up. Things are looking up for blue ray now Blockbuster and hollywood vidio are stocking blue ray movies for rentel and at the same fee as standard d.v.d.s. I can only state that blue ray will give you picture quality that will knock your socks off better than any movie theater in town steweee
I have a great HDTV set. I have Directv and a standard Sony DVD player.
For watching movies should I:
a. buy DirecTV Standard PPV (DirecTV only shows very limited HD PPV movies).
b. rent DVD and watch on standard DVD player
c. buy upconverter DVD player
d. don't watch any movies until I can afford a blu-ray.
