Movie Maker to DVD

Oct 6, 2006 4:21AM PDT

I have a canon elura 100. I have gotten my video from my camcorder to my computer and used Movie Maker to edit it. I have it saved in Movie Maker but cannot figure out how to burn a DVD of it now. I have tried the option in Movie Maker that says save to CD. It starts the process but never finishes. I have also tried to burn it in my Nero program but it says it is in the wrong format.

You must have Windows XP SP2...

When you put that on your computer since the Movie Maker that comes with SP1 is only for CDs. Movie Maker 2 has added the option for DVD burning. Check to see that your computer has SP2.

Go to Start, then right-click My Computer and click Properties. It should say if it is Service Pack 2 or not. You need to tell more about what you're trying to do in order to get a helpful response. DETAILS!
