Moved computers, lost network

Feb 4, 2007 6:25AM PST

I swapped desks and computers with my husband. When I reconnected everything, the computers had totally lost connection with our wireless home network. I've been trying for two days, and not been able to re-connect. The primary computer is in my son's room, directly connected to comcast. The wireless base station is a microsoft MN-500. One office computer links with a microsoft wireless connector, the other has a d-link. Any suggestions? The network setup wizards have me going around in circles with my flash drive, but no connections get actually set up. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

How about a reboot of......

of the modem and the router? Often times when you move things around a renewal of IP's is needed.

The reboot plus the magic key

The reboot worked, once I e-mailed the guy who set up the network and got the net key. Thanks.
