Basically is the first account that you had free? In that case Tripod will most likely delete it after about 30(not sure, 30 seems the general rule) days of inactivity.
What does Tripod say exactly when you message them?
If your up for it you can just go to your old site, the (If your using Internet Explorer) click on View and then Source from the menu at the top. Then copy the source and paste it wherever. Keep in mind that you also have to save a copy of every image. Yes it can be time consuming especially with a lot of images, but if you really like the old site, you might as well give it a try.
* IMPORTANT NOTE *
I don't know Tripods rules when it comes to server-side languages, but either way, you won't be able to get this part using the View Source method. If you are using a server-side language, theres no point in explaining why, but for those of you who don't use them, basically server side languages are passed to the main server which interprets the code (i.e. PHP or ASP etc.) and then passes it to the client's browser for final interpretation of the HTML.
I have had a web page published on Tripod for a few years. I used Front Page to create the page. I am now using XP Home. I guess my Front Page expired so I purchased a new site through Tripod, using their web tools. I would like to bring my old site to the new one. I can view the old one but I can't change or add to it. I have emailed Tripod for help about five times and they answer all my questions with the same answer. I have my old page linked thru my new page but I am wondering if the old page will be dropped from inactivity? Any suggestions or help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Dan
