Move Old Hard Drive ?

I have a new computer with Windows 7 DOWNGRADED to XP. Can I move my old hard drive from my old computer to the new computer as an additional hard drive thus having my old files available on the new computer?

As long

As long as the new system has the proper connection type, and you're not attempting to boot from the drive, then yes.

Move Hard Drive

Is moving the hard drive a simple thing? Do I just take it out of one computer to the other? Will Windows create a new drive letter etc?

Generally

Generally it's as simple as taking it out of one system and putting it into the other, but sometimes the gods decide to seek their amusement at your expense.
