General discussion

Move email to a folder AFTER it has been read.

May 3, 2010 7:51AM PDT

I have this question posted in email also..not sure where it should actually be for people to respond...

I am a PC user and Microsoft Echange. Office 2007.
I also have an IPhone.

I set up approximately 30 folders within my email for messages to be moved to.

I would like to move an email to a folder AFTER it has been read.

However, if I set up a rule to move the email to their specific folders, the email does NOT show up on my IPhone, unless I click on the specific folder and I do not know to do that because it doesn't show up.

I called IPhone and they said that is true and within this version of the phone it will not notify me of a new email that has automatically moved to a folder within outlook.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks in advance for your help.
