mouse will not work

by garronjude / August 11, 2005 3:42 PM PDT

I have read all the other entries and none of the responses have helped. I have a compaq presario (I now believe what everyone has been saying,..compaqs suck!! ...what is the problem with them..???!!)

its running ME and in the device manager it says its not working properly because windows cannot load the file vmouse.vxd that loads the drivers for the device (code Cool

I tried going to the microsuck site and downloading the driver for intellimouse 1.1A but to no avail. I ran the software,..installed everything and even noticed the file vmouse being installed,...but windows is still saying that it cannot load the file/driver,..????? I hate to waste an otherwise good computer because of a mouse issue. Please help.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
