Question

Mouse not working

Jul 11, 2016 1:41PM PDT

I've been running Windows 10 for nearly a year with no major problems. Today, however, I had no mouse - no keypad and no left or right buttons. When I reboot, I get the default "pretty scenery", and the mouse works (at least the keypad does move the arrow around, like normal). But after I log on to access Windows, there is no more mouse activity.
I've used the Tab and arrow keys to verify that I do have the latest drivers and that the device is "working".
Any suggestions? Thanks!

I try another mouse and keyboard. But the PC's make, model, age and story are missing. Tell more.

Are other USB devices working on this system ?
