by Bastyyyy / May 19, 2015 4:46 PM PDT

Hi, I just got new computer and been fighting with this mouse problem long time now. So I plug in my mouse and keyboard, everything works fine, but after putting in my webcam and using it on skype, mouse starts to lag and not respond to clicks, been trying to update chipset drivers and usb drivers but nothing seems to be doing the trick. Mouse and webcam works fine on older computer.

Specs are:

16gb Kingston Fury memory
i7-4790k @ 4,00ghz processor
Cooler Master 600w B-series

Mouse Zowie EC 1
Webcam Logitech Webcam C170

Good time to test your warranty.

It's new and defective. The maker is still on the hook to make it right.

You didn't write you built it so I take it your word that you "just got new computer" which tells me it's not something you built.

My bet is you did and didn't tell.

I can't guess if you forgot drivers and APPS!!!! for the system. Be detailed.

There are rarely USB drivers outside of a motherboard driver package. I guess I was unclear. Please detail your OS and post OS install steps.

The mouse works fine now, that the webcam is not plugged in.

Sounds as if you have may have too many items plugged in USB for the system to handle. You could get an external powered hub to see if that might resolve the issue, that would be something to try.

Let's say you know how to install Windows, drivers and more.

Be sure to use the rear USB ports. Front ports are often troublesome.
