Mouse Jumping

Ok, Here's my issue that I've had for about 1 week. I couldn't find another forum that addressed this exactly.

I have an HP tablet laptop with a mouse pad.
The mouse pointer jumps to the bottom left of the screen (and clicks!) when a new program or web page loads.

It does this just about every time I go to a new web page, and about half the time I open another program like Word. Initially I thought it was viral, but I ran Window's Defender and Malwarebytes and nothing was found.

I read some threads that this happens to optical or ball mice when they need to be cleaned, but my mouse is neither of these. It's the touchpad on a laptop--- I tried to look under the mousepad on the bottom of the computer, and I cleaned out a little dust, but problem continues.

I turned off the "Enhance pointer precision" and "Snap to" in the control panel settings and disabled the "Mouse Stick" but none has helped.

Thanks for any help you can give me!
