Question

mouse cursor gone out of control

Jul 7, 2017 4:34AM PDT

Recently I downloaded and installed a software to my laptop. While installing it, Mouse cursor started moving uncontrollably. It started clicking on programs present on the desktop. Now I have uninstalled the program that I installed earlier but the problem is still there. I reinstalled the mouse driver and performed the virus scan also , but still nothing. Please suggest me any solution the problem.

Answer
Mouse settings

Had a terrible problem with wireless mouse on my laptop in Windows 10. It was totally unworkable. After much ado and angst fixed by going into mouse settings and in advanced settings turned off Click Lock and that fixed it. Mouse still quite super sensitive but controllable.

Similar Here But With "Enhance Pointer Precision" Setting

Control Panel-Mouse icon-Pointer Options tab, then UNCHECK the "Enhance pointer precision" box. This fixed the mouse jumping to and fro.

Hope this helps.
