Mounting Plasmas

I have a new Plasma (88pounds) sitting on my living room floor looking for an installer. I also have plaster walls. The instructions say to screw it into the beams. I believe it could also be hung using lead anchors.

The idea is to find the wood stud in the wall and fasten the bracket to the stud, then hang the TV on the bracket.
The downside is you may not have a stud excatly where you want to hang your TV.
Now if you have REAL plaster walls you may be able to use toggle bolts to fasten the bracket to the wall.
If you have drywall I would mount a 3/4" piece of plywood
to the studs in the wall then mount the bracket to the plywood. John
