General discussion

mountain lion and netflix downstreaming?

Oct 1, 2012 3:06AM PDT

I've been using Netflix for a while now. I recently bought a new macbook pro, mountain lion, and now when i try to downstream films on netflix, i get a screen telling me to download MICROSOFT SILVERLIGHT, then i can screen films. but Silverlight never downloads, I never get the application, only an alias. Does anyone else have this problem? And how can I solve it?

I tried using my old computer, macbook pro with snow leopard and netflix runs fine, i can downstream films without any problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
