It could be possible it's the phone. It could also be the structure of your home. If there's a cellphone tower near your home, then the signal shouldn't be that bad, unless your home doesn't have a lot of windows and have lots of metal around the home. I do know where I live, T-Mobile's coverage is that spotty that it doesn't matter what phone you have, reception sucks both outside and inside. I don't know how Motorola GSM phones are on reception, but from my experience with Verizon model Motorola phones, their phones can't handle weak signals like Samsung & Kyocera models do. It could be a combination of factors I mentioned above as to why you might have poor reception in your house. In some neighborhoods, residents vote down cellphone towers because they don't want them, then complain they can't use their phones. I had that problem in Oak Lawn IL when my phone showed no service.
I have been with t mobile for 8 months , and still cannot use my phone in my house , or my yard. I have to go out in the street to get the power to use this phone. T-mobile says there is no guarantee on being able to use a phone inside a building. If I cancel out , it costs me $200 , so thats not really an option. I am wondering if it is the phone , as t - mobile says there are no other complaints from my town . Any thoughts out there? Thanks for any responses.
