Motorola V60v

Sep 28, 2004 2:44AM PDT

I recently purchased the Motorola V60v (Carried by SprintPCS) and I must say I am very unhappy with the product. My main issues are, poor battery life and questionable signal strength. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, did you find a work-a-round? That said... is it possible to acquire a Motorola StarTac?

I dislike the thought of having a slick looking phone with subpar use-ability. The additional features it lacks are not an issue what so ever.

Long live the Motorola StarTac.

Peace.

Unfortunatly the answer to the StarTac, one of my favorite phones ever, is no. I actually bought the Motorola Vader (a smaller star tac) back in March. I had it hooked up for two weeks before deciding to upgrade to the Treo 600. I recently got rid of the Treo and went to get the Vader hooked up and was told that Sprint's Network no longer supports my phone. Because this phone is newer than the StarTac, I am assuming that it is no longer supported either....

Vinsonrc:

Thanks for getting back to me. I have the Treo 600 as well. I don't like using with my personal number becuase I needed a phone that was a bit more durable. As for the Motorola V60v... I still have it. SprintPCS sent me another phone which I've allowed to stay on the charger for 24 hours before turning it on. The tech suggested it... Not sure how effective it was.

Good luck with trying to find a replacement phone.

Peace,
