Motorola V60 changing sim cards?

Mar 1, 2005 2:34AM PST

Hello,
My first post but I have been trying to read up on all this info. I would appreciate any tips or advice. Thanks in advance.

I am a very moderate user of cell phones and I travel from USA to Mexio quite often. I was given a motorola cell V60 that my relative in Mexico no longer uses but I can buy prepaid telcel cards to use it in Mexico. I am trying to avoid the long distance charges and the convenience of using one phone. Where are these Sim cards located? the back says AMPS 900/1800? Is this GSM?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Unless you have a Motorola V60g, the phone won't have a SIM card. If it has no SIM card, it is probably a TDMA phone.

Thanks Birdmantd,

I guess I am stuck with verizon wireless if verizon can reprogram a cellular from another country to work on their system.
