Moto G6 or Huawei P20 lite

Any advice about which phone is better? It'll mainly be used for social media, youtube and camera.

From what I have read, Moto G6 (standard 32GB/ 3GB ram) seems more durable (splash resistant, gorilla glass), but I've also read about Motorola updates not being the best.

The phone is to replace a Moto G4, which has been fine for my needs (until it developed a battery/ charging issue).

I'm on a moto g 5 plus and the experience has me thinking if I was to replace, I'd get their current g 6.

What updates are you speaking of? The Android OS? If that's a concern then look at Google's own phones.
