motherboard help!!!

by mesdap / July 18, 2008 5:03 AM PDT

hi, i currently have a relatively old computer with a biostar u8668d v7.1. Here is the link to the specs(http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/mb/content.php?S_ID=343). I went to the local computer repair and they told me this motherboard can only handle 1gb of ram, but at the biostar web page they clearly state it can handle up to 2 gbs of ram. could you please inform me how much ram it can handle? and if it can handle 2gbs, is this ram compatible with the motherboard(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820141217)?
thanks.

It has 1GB or 2x512MB on it. If I recall I checked with crucial.com about it.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
