what happened if you change the mother board?

Your question is incomplete.

But given the forum I think you wonder what happens to Windows 7. Usually W7 then fails to boot to the desktop. You might see BSODs, you might see a blank screen but you're rarely greeted with a working Windows system.

It's not a big deal. We reinstall the OS and carry on.
