Broke,as in completly at the wire harness, were they touching?, etc.. If they were the 5V, a very important voltage got shorted. If so, then replace power supply and hope for the best, otherwise, the mtrbd. is done in as well.
Leave the broken USB unhooked, unplug the AC cord, wait 15min., then reconnect AC, try to boot-up. If it still fails, the above applies.

ok its like this i was moven my cords around because i was gunna get a new heatsink and fan for my cpu and unfortunatly i left my usb headset pluged in and i broke my front usb ports and i go to turn my computer on and nothing hapens so i make sure every thing is pluged in and it is after a fiew more failed atemts i go to bed the next day i try some more stuff and put my new heatsink on and after that i start to unplug every thing so i can plug it into another power supply and what do you know when i unplug my broken usb ports my power light lights up on my mobo. so i get excited replug my power and sound back into my mobo leaving my broken usb out and it still doesnt start up
. my frong gages and led fans flicker once and nothign hapens. and this is only after i jiggle the power plug to my mobo does any one know what hte problem is. or do i just have a bad mobo now.
