more than one connection

I'm stuck in an area that has more than one available wireless connection. I can connect to a lot of them, but only one is able to receive packets. I'll start on one connection and then it will disconnect me and connect me to one that won't work. Is there any way I can make it to where it will only connect to one and not disconnect me?

Does your Wifi configuration panels offer such a feature? Not all do. Look for a connect to only preferred networks.
