General discussion

more stable

Oct 27, 2009 4:20PM PDT

we've all seen the adds I promise better than last time blah blah blah. But is it really worth it? I know its only been a few days since release, but first impressions. Is it really more stable than XP/VISTA? Less crashes, etc. Forget about features and speed for now. But lots of forums and other sites say less crashes etc. Anyone else think it's more stable than before?

Or save the money and wait for windows codename "stable os" or something along the lines? Probably never happen but one can dream...

For my part, I have been using my "Vista" for 6 months now, it has never crashed, and is very stable.

I see no reason why Win 7 should be any different.

That's actually less

That's actually less a function of the OS so much as it is the hardware you run it on. You buy some cheap HP or Acer system with shoddy quality hardware, I don't care what OS you run on it, it will have issues.

Run Windows, or any other OS, on a quality set of hardware, and you generally have a problem free experience.
