more powerfull, gaming or media laptops?

im into photography/videography, i use photoshop, premier pro, and many more, what is the best way to go for a powerfull laptop, gaming, media, or something else? $1200-$1500

are now quad core and pushing multimedia and gaming machines. You may want to look at these machines. Acer, Hp, Sony and Dell have come out with these new machines. I know you can get the Acer 8930G-7665 for 1899. Specs are Nvidia 9700 4 gig ram, 500 gig HR, Blu ray, Quad core porcessor, 16.9 aspect ratio for true widescreen High Definition.
