I had the opportunity today to drive over to Hamilton, MA. Visit the park and talk with a town historian regarding the Patton family who still resides there.
Gen. Pattons son, who also was a Gen. resides in Hamilton on a very large estate. "Green Meadows Farm" He suffers from severe Dementia and his son, the 3rd. suffers from Mental deficiencies. Sad. The Patton family is very wealthy and extremely generous to various causes. The estate here in Hamilton was Gen. Patton Srs. Summer Home. His wife was from here. The family was big in pharmaceuticals, as I was told.
This is the only link of the park and tank I could dig up, which this town link mentions nothing about Gen. Patton.

At the base of the flag pole are 4 plaques honoring the divisions and men who served under him.
#1- 26th Yankee Infantry Div.
#2- 4th Armored Div. who served with 3rd Army
#3- 83rd Infantry Div. also served with 3rd Army
#4- Was dedicated to Gen. Patton himself.
Over to the right of the park are 2 cannons, 2 60 cal. machine guns. At the entrance are 2 large memorials sent from France in honor of Gen. Patton.
It was quite an experience talking with this gentleman and learning how much history there is about Gen. Patton in this small town of Horse Farms.
